Bokura
no Secret (僕らのsecret – Our Secret) is a piece
of fanfiction I wrote in 2006. It’s a story about first love
—so at certain points it may seem rather naive—, true love, sacrifices,
friendship, and personal growth. As an aspiring writer I’d
been going through a writer’s block and was convinced I’d never finish a
single story. Then I learned about Ya-Ya-yah and
everything changed. Ya-Ya-yah literally became my
inspiration, so I owe a lot to them. This is the first story I managed to
finish, and even though it’s not perfect it will always be special for me. I
